BLACK RESEARCHERS COLLECTIVE
Black Researchers Collective is a collective of Black women in Chicago taking research to the streets. The mission of the Black Researchers Collective is to train and equip communities with research tools to be more civically engaged and policy informed.
C47 WORK AND EXPERIMENT LOUNGE
C47 Work and Experiment Lounge is a unique space designed to inspire creativity, exploration and collaboration. C47 is an extension of Carver 47 Food and Wellness Market. The thoughtful intention that is the foundation of the Carver 47 market ethos is extended to a beautiful co-working/innovation space that offers high quality service, beautiful aesthetics, opportunities to experiment and collaborate with creatives from the neighborhood and around the world.
LITTLE BLACK PEARL
Little Black Pearl counters the challenges urban youth face by providing a safe environment, access to positive role models, rigorous programming, skills development activities and social growth opportunities.
CARVER 47 CAFE
Carver 47 is the newest and most exciting attraction on Chicago’s Southside. Located in the historic Bronzeville/north Kenwood neighborhood, Carver 47 serves the community as a true social lab experiment where we can come together to learn, nourish our spirits and commune under the guise/greatness of Dr. George Washington Carver.
MEN OF PURPOSE
The Men of Purpose Mentoring program is designed to empower men from all walks of life, to help them establish or reestablish a path that leads to a career or post secondary education, while cultivating strong leadership skills. As a result of a vital relationship with a suitable mentor, participants will develop positive social skills, increase self-worth, and make a healthy lifestyle their priority.
